hydrophilic solids, granules, powder

Environmental

Application Areas

Absorption of hazardous liquids: Hazardous liquids can be quickly absorbed and contained for transport to safe disposal. Aqueous solutions and polar solvents can be selectively absorbed from non polar liquids.

Environmental monitoring: AEP hydrophilic compounds have been developed as transducers, taking advantage of the highly reproducible and reversible properties that make them ideal as the basis of a measuring system.
Preloading with indicator can give a visual indication of the solute characteristics.

Leak detection: AEP hydrophilic materials provide a mechanical action on exposure to water that will remain reliable for many years without the need for external power.

Features of AEP Compounds
